northampton faceliftWhat Northampton getting a facelift … Wouldn’t it be great to read that headline in the Chron rather more depressing news of shops closing down in Northampton, which has unfortunately has become far too familiar a story.

I must say I did have a glisten of hope when Tesco’s hopped into the Woolworths shell, however, the falling economy and the complete lack of spending from either side ‘shoppers or local company investment‘ leaves me not too shocked that the start of 2012 will see the loss of even more high street brands in Northampton.

Not so long ago on another blog I wrote about part time jobs in Northampton town are under threat and it’s not just the students that are feeling the pinch. Argos on Abington St in he latest to call it a day and give up the lease.

It’s a fact things are getting tougher out there. if you are looking to find the best deals around town as well as other ways to top up your pay packet … You Are Not Alone!
